Life on Rooikrans.

Rooikrans is the farm where we stay. It is a gamefarm and there are a lot of different types of game here, like Inyala, kudu, waterbuck, zebra, ostrich, impala, Red Hartebeest and Blue Wildebeest. We love going for a drive with dad to feed the game. We also like going for walks and sometimes the tame ostrich, Dolla goes with us.

We love living in the bush although mom and dad say this is the closest we have ever lived to a town.

We have 4 or 5 dams on the farm and by that we mean mud-baths to be had! We love swimming in the dams and getting full of mud. We are putting fish (kurper) in the dam this afternoon, then we can catch fish. It has never put us off going fishing in the past, but it will be nice to know that now we have a chance of actually catching something.

Life is very 'rustig' here on the farm, especially for some. We go with dad to feed the game, (see picture) and we love going to the staff houses and having lunch with the staff instead of with mom and dad at home.

We love the staff, they play games with us (see picture) and always chat to us.
